The Annual Declaration Form for the Catchment/Cover Crop Measure 6A & 6B is a required document for participants in the agri-environment schemes under these measures. It is used to confirm that the specified environmental actions—such as the establishment and maintenance of catch or cover crops—have been carried out in line with scheme requirements. This form ensures compliance with programme guidelines and supports continued eligibility for funding or support under the relevant rural development or environmental stewardship schemes.

You can get paid for a total of 0.5 to 40 hectares across both Measures 6A and 6B combined.

VALIDATION:
Option 6A: Signed annual declaration submitted by 1st October annually and map clearly showing where the catch/cover crop was planted.
Option 6B: Declarations close on September 1st 2026.
Proof of seed purchased (showing type of seed purchased plus kgs i.e. seed bag labels including ACRES catch crop seed dockets) should be kept for 5 years in case of inspection.
